Tasting

To the eye: Pale gold colour with silvery highlights..

To the nose: Straightforward, very pastry-like, with floral notes such as orange blossom.

On the palate: Characterised by beautiful volume and richness, with iodine notes and a liquorice finish. Beautiful balance and length on the palate.

About technic

Moderate yield vineyard (50 hl/ha). Direct pressing without destemming or crushing. Clarification: 24 hours at 12.5°C. Alcoholic fermentation in barrels (duration of AF: 1.5 months) followed by partial malolactic fermentation.  Aged for 10 months on fine lees in 4 oak barrels (including 1 new barrel, with acacia bottoms to bring more freshness and less tannins), with bâtonnage.

Our tips …

A white wine to drink chilled, between 11 and 12°C. It pairs successfully with lemony white fish carpaccio, grilled or cooked fish, and cheese.

You can also enjoy it with winter dishes such as raclette and tartiflette.
